While Driving ...

This is a shot of my front yard looking up.  I thought how ironic the sky was so blue, the temperature was 60 degrees but a snow storm and temperatures dropping into the teens was in the forecast for the weekend.

Blue Sky and 60 Degrees but ...

Here are pictures of an abandoned store near my house:

Can Only Change So Much

Having energy is a weird thing at least for me.  I am not a Type A person. I've battled periods of low energy without a known medical cause.  I do have my moments of energy bursts. I even fool myself into believing I have changed but reality always comes into view.  I contemplated making a few changes as I alluded to in an earlier post  then things went into a different direction which is okay.  Anyway now I'm trying out longer hours in the office but going in fewer days.  Sunday I spent a fair amount of time getting organized for the week.  I had my google task lists going for the days I worked and the days I was at home adding in an exercise routine everyday. Monday - Wednesday I got an amazing amount of things accomplished especially considering a lot tax stuff is due for work at the end of this month. I was feeling pretty proud then early Wednesday evening I fell asleep on our couch.  I could have crawled into bed, slept for 12 hours and still felt tired.  Today I'm back on track with my list.  I am reminded  I am who I am.  I certainly will continue to strive for improvement but cannot overhaul the total package!

Found Camera

I did pick up my camera today for the first time in probably a month.  These deer spent a good amount of time in my backyard this morning:

Back in Touch in 2010

Quick post with more to follow later. I got through the holidays but didn't take a single picture. In fact, I still haven't taken a picture.  No shots of our beautiful snow.  Despite my tone, I am happy and optimistic for 2010.  I believe there are some (good) changes on the horizon.  It's my nature to fight change but at this point I am ready to accept change and in some cases even aggressively pursue change.  I think of things such as: it could be the last summer my son is really home if he goes to college in 2011 playing football, the 2010/2011 school year will be the last one I will have 2 children in our school system.  I don't exactly feel sad about these things but rather keeping them in mind with my decisions.  Again more about all that at a later date.

To my blogging friends - I may not have commented but I have your blogs in my google reader and I do read your posts.
