Blogging trends aren't the only thing changing. If you have followed my blog for at least a year, you know going to Appalachian football games was a big family event. This season is not working out as I had hoped. The kids have lost interest as well as having schedule conflicts. I feel game day Saturday has become a puzzle - 4 pieces representing each family member, trying to make the puzzle fit and all work out to be one nice picture.
My husband and I still wish to be at The Rock in Boone but don't want to force it on the kids. Some Saturdays our son is visiting other colleges, attending games and thinking about his future. There are times he is just tired from his own game the night before. (His team is in the state playoffs!) Our daughter is developing her own life and interests. As frustrating as it may be, it's all understandable.
