I asked my daughter to pick out a pumpkin and this is what she came back with:
She likes pumpkins that are different.
Anyone dressing up for Halloween? My husband and I are going to a party that night. I haven't gotten my costume together. Yesterday my daughter tried on my prom dress and now has decided to go with "80's Prom Queen". I silently thanked my mom for saving my dress. Since I have an obsession with anti-clutter, I tend to throw and give away a lot of things. Now I wish I had saved the five bridesmaid dresses I had. I wasn't thinking that one day I'd have a daughter.

That pumpkin is really cool! It'd be a shame to carve it.
I'm going to two parties on Halloween. But my costume is kind of stupid. You should definitely dress up somehow.
I am going to use that black wig from the ASU game last year. That's all I got so far.
AWESOME pumpkin! :) I think we're heading back to the mountains for Halloween. No parties or dressing up this year. Love the fact that your daughter is using your prom dress!!
I used one of my 80hundred (yes, that's a real number) bridesmaid's dresses in a costume a few years back. A friend and I totally trashed it -- grass and mud stains, fake blood, holes and rips through out, and a tire mark across the mid section. I was a dead bridesmaid. Morbid, but a great use of a one-time dress! :)
Love the prom dress idea! Will she be a normal 80's prom girl? Did you buy several cans of Rave yet?
We might dress up somewhat...haven't really thought about it. We always do Trunk & Treat @ church, so maybe a crazy wig or something, at least.
OH! And I <3 that pumpkin! I started to buy some last night (at Walmart - ugh) but decided to hit the "pumpkin patch" instead. A local church has a huge assortment every year.
Mel - C bought this one from her youth group's pumpkin patch.
Lovey - my brother has been a groomsman 13 times.
