Unfortunately the dance ran into a problem. For some reason it was booked outside in the plaza of the baseball stadium. There was a faculty adviser who signed the contract. I haven't heard all the details. The poor kids were freezing and miserable. The facility did not provide heaters. The school brought in a few. At least they have 2 more dances this year.

That was not a very bright idea. Had this adviser not lived in NC for very long? October is a crazy weather month here, you never know what it's going to be from one day to the next. Best to err on the side of caution and use climate controlled facilities for ANYTHING in October! I have to say, though, that is probably the most BEAUTIFUL corsage I've ever seen! Where did you get it?
That is sad, I am sorry their event did not go well.
