A New Week

I'm still pretty much eating as I described in the earlier post. I did end up having 1 beer when my husband and I went out. From all this, I think eliminating non whole grains has been the most beneficial. I had my green smoothie this morning - Day 1 of the Green Smoothie challenge. This week I want to try to get in exercise and go out and take pictures (not of me exercising!). Anything in particular you want to accomplish in the next few days?

Hmmm. I've started a new exercise plan. I ordered a set of workout videos, and they came last week. There are three in the series, so I figure if I do one on Mondays, one on Wednesdays, and one on Fridays, and take a 45 minute walk on Tuesdays and Thursdays, my overall conditioning will improve, which is what I want for horseback riding lessons on Saturdays. I've noticed some improvement in my riding, just from the increased exercising I was doing *before* the dvds came. So hopefully, this will help even more.

Who knew all of the muscles that riding *correctly* takes? Not me.

I should show you the list of things to do in next few days! Luckily, though, the last thing on that list is to drive to the beach for the weekend. :)
I have been following the Couch-to-3K program... week one complete! I'll even keep it up at the beach. Thanks for the suggestion!
