I opened my facebook account a while back maybe 1-1/2 years ago? At the time, I felt like the odd man out. The main users were people at least 10 years younger than me. No one I saw on a regular basis was on it. I felt stupid signing up and deactiviated my account. Last year I got back on facebook. Slowly I found and was found by friends in my age group mainly through the high school and college connections. I don't know what happened toward the end of 2008 but facebook really took off. It seemed everyone I ever went to school with, worked with, had been friends with, parents of my children's friends, relatives of my husband, and neighbors were on facebook. My work even formed a facebook group. These applications go in phases. You have those who get all hyped up, join the bandwagon then fall off. I've seen it happen with blogging, flickr, and twitter. I still use them all but not as much as I use to. FYI- I didn't link my blog to facebook. I maintain my secret blogging status among those I see on a regular basis.

I thought that was weird, too. When I first started FB there were maybe 5 or 10 people I knew. All of a sudden they are coming out of the woodwork. What is up with that?
I get a kick out of Facebook, thou I don't get to mine very often. Seems like every week a blast from the past comes back! I don't link my blog either.
Love your daughter's art work. So pretty.
Take Care.
