City Girl, Country Girl?

Growing up I always thought of myself as a city girl. I believe summers spent visiting my grandparents in the country and having to pick things out of their garden shaped my views. I knew snakes and big bugs were lurking in between those rows of vegetables.
Now I live in the outer suburbs, bordering on rural farmland (for now). I don't have a garden or livestock but I have an appreciation for them. I like barns partly because they don't build them anymore or at least like they use to. I pulled off the road into a field and got this shot today.

Abandoned Barn

Now I find myself taking pictures of all kind of things. I guess I've changed.

I'll stop back to see the photo, it says it's unavailable.

Isn't it nice the time spend in your youth in the country, brings appreciation for it as a "city girl"?

I was a total 'city girl' before moving here to Boone........now I'm unrecognizable to the person I used to be 3 years ago.......it's funny how that works, eh?

*I'll check out the groups, thanks!
